Anita Bhatia is the Founder of The Impact Commons and is the former Assistant Secretary-General and Deputy Executive Director of UN Women, and was Director of Partnerships and Advisory Operations at the IFC. She comes with over three decades of experience that spans across international development, gender equality, and sustainable finance. She has played an instrumental role in forming and deepening strategic partnerships with governments and corporates towards fragile and conflict-affected states, gender equality, financial inclusion, support to women-owned businesses, and other priorities critical for the achievement of the SDGs.
